Registers
Registers Dashboard
To access the Registers Dashboard, click on Registers in the top bar and from the drop-down menu, click Registers Dashboard.
From the dashboard, you can see all the registers in the system.
Using the Create button in the bottom right corner of each register, you can create a new item for that register.
Creating a Register
To create a new register, click on the gear icon on the right-hand side of the top bar and click on Pages under System Config.
Click on Create New Page and, from the drop-down menu, click on Register.
Give your register a name, a plural name, a description, an ID, and an icon.
Click Submit to save.
Your register will now appear on the Registers Dashboard and in the drop-down menu under Registers on the top bar.
Custom Fields
To add custom fields to the register, click on Manage the Custom Fields for this page at the bottom of the Page Settings.
Click on Add Custom Fields and select the fields you want to add from the drop-down menu.
You can rearrange the order of the fields by clicking Change Custom Field Order and dragging the fields around.
Once you have rearranged them, click Submit to save.
You do not need to click Submit to save adding custom fields; it saves automatically.
Adding Register Items
To add items to a register, first go to the register from either the Register Dashboard, or the drop-down menu on the top bar.
Click the blue New [Register Name] button to the right-hand side of the page.
Fill in the name and other fields on the register page and click Submit to save.
It will now appear on the register dashboard.
Actions on Registers
Some registers may have items with regular or once off tasks associated to them. To add an action to an item in a register, first open the page for the item.
Scroll down the page to the Actions section. Click on the blue button that says, “New Action” and select an action type from the drop-down menu.
Fill in the details, ensuring there is at least one Master Question and click Submit to save.

Closing Register Items
To close a register item, click Edit.
Click Close and then Confirm Close.
Searching and Filtering on Registers
You can search and filter on registers by going to the page of the register. Above the register table there is a search bar where you can search by name or ID. Below the search bar is a button to add filters. When you click on this button, you will see a drop-down menu where you can select fields to filter by.
